Come check out the Ottawa premiere (as far as we know) of “69″, a film that depicts the last 6 months of the Ungdomshuset before its eviction in the spring of 2007.
Ungdomshuset operated as an underground music venue & radical organizing space in Copenhagen for 30 years. The movie includes unique footage from secret meetings, direct actions, riots, everyday life in the collective, and the ultimate eviction.
“69″ has toured all over Europe and North America and has won three awards at international film festivals.
Members of the Ungdomshuset collective will be present to answer any questions you may have.
Film starts @ 6pm.

EXILE needs to clean– big time! That’s why we’ll be closed during our regular hours on Sunday, April 26th.
Come by before the 26th to see if any of your stuff is in our lost-and-found box. Also, if you are a group or individual who, for whatever reason, has been storing something at EXILE, this is your last chance to come pick it up! That includes flags, medic supplies, banners, and other random stuff that is not part of the shop. We are not a storage closet and will be tossing anything that is still there by April 26th.
